Chamberlains are a small family run business formed in 1975 by John Chamberlain. Originally based in the Cotswolds (the firm still retains many farmers and small business owners from that area) John moved his business and family up to the midlands in 1982 where he took on John Rawsthorne as a trainee accountant. 

 

After John Chamberlain retired in the early 90's, John Rawsthorne went on to succesfully run the business for the next two and a half decades before retiring himself and selling the business to his employee, Paul Smith in 2010.   

 

Paul is assisted by the experienced Kevin Hall who has been at the firm for 20 years, Louise Donnelly who looks after payroll and VAT and Kevin Davis.

Chamberlains continues the tradition instilled by both John Chamberlain and John Rawsthorne today, offering the right blend of experience and specialisation to sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies, preferring to support similar sized businesses in all aspects of financial management.
